About the event

Each year we create a beautiful summer flower meadow, where many bees, butterflies and other wildlife can call it a home. This year we are excited to let you know that we would like to invite you to sow the meadows together with us on this special Volunteer Day.  During the day you will get to learn how to sow a flower meadow step by step, and hands-on doing it yourself. It is a great chance to have a taste of how it is like to be an eco-friendly flower farmer and to connect with nature and the land. We will have refreshments for you on the day and will reward your kind gesture with a bottle of our own apple juice. Sign-up now to a lovely day to help us and nature while enjoying fresh air.

One booking is for one adult. You can bring your children if they are at least 13 years old (or younger if you are confident they will be comfotable to participating in our volunteer activites) and just let us know when filling in the booking form on the next stage. We will have clean water for hand washing and a portable toilet to use.

Please wear sturdy shoes and practical clothing on the day.

Please be aware that BA3 4NQ is the nearest postcode and not the exact location of the field. We are about half a mile north of Chewton Mendip in the 40MPH zone on the left on the A39.

The what3words location for the entrance is: inflating.clock.evening (download the app if you haven't got it).
